Tecum Capital is pleased to celebrate 15 years of investing in small businesses. We are a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania based investment firm with a multi-strategy approach to investing private capital in lower middle-market companies focusing on mezzanine and direct equity investments with an acute focus on ownership transitions.
Currently, we are investing from our 2nd SBIC fund, which is $265 million of capital. We are focused on making mezzanine debt and equity investments with an ability to invest up to $18 million per transaction. We are industry generalists seeking opportunities to partner with independent sponsors, family offices, committed funds, and management teams to help them achieve their respective goals.
In addition, our family office platform, Tecum Equity, is an independent investment manager with access to multiple family office partners formed to invest in select industries where the team and its network have the operational expertise to add long-term value sustainably. Our core focus is to partner with like-minded management teams and business owners to grow enterprise value without the restrictions of a limited-term fund.
Since its inception, Tecum Capital has invested over $475 million in over 60 lower middle-market companies, and an additional $290 million in 6 companies via Tecum’s family office platform.
