Tecum Capital Presents Champion of Small Business Award to Congressman Rothfus

Rothfus has supported greater capital access and investment in small business

Tecum Capital’s Tyson Smith and Stephen Gurgovits, along with Greg Shoup, President of Allegheny Performance Plastics (APP), presented Congressman Keith Rothfus with the SBIA Champion of Small Business Investing Award for his work in Congress supporting greater capital access and investment in small business.

After the presentation at APP, one of Tecum Capital’s portfolio companies, Rep. Rothfus toured the Leetsdale PA facility. Established in 1936, Allegheny Performance Plastics is an internationally recognized and innovative leader developing high temperature, high performance, specialty thermoplastics for automotive and aerospace applications.

Tecum Capital is the only SBIC certified by the SBA in the region and is currently investing out its second fund focusing on creating jobs regionally. Congressman Keith Rothfus was recognized for his support of small business investment.
